I’m Alyssa, owner of A Night Out.
I am passionate about so many things.
I’M A PEOPLE PERSON. I love spending time with those who matter most to me. I also find fulfillment in serving others. Fun fact: I am a nurse & work full-time at a local hospital in the city. Caring for others & helping people in anyway I can is what drives me.
I LOVE MY CITY! Fort Worth has been home for most of my life. Growing up a few minutes west, in Springtown, Texas, we often made the trek to Fort Worth for dinner, shopping, movies, etc. After graduating high school, I headed west to Lubbock, Texas (WRECK ‘EM TECH!) for college, & earned my Bachelors of Science in Nursing. After tossing my cap, I rushed home to Fort Worth as soon as possible!
I often refer to Fort Worth as, “A big city, with a small town feel,'" if ya know what I mean, & I love it! I enjoy discovering new places, businesses, & restaurants, while also keeping up with the classics. As our city continues to grow, I hope to educate the community on the newest & coolest spots, while also working to promote & advertise local businesses.
3. “I love gathering around a table with a purpose. Hosting has always been something I enjoy. I can remember hosting a high-tea party in high school. That’s where my love for hosting beautiful events was born. I have hosted many events since, ranging from bridal showers, to milestone birthday parties, & baby showers.
Now, my favorite event to host is Friendsgiving. I’ve created table scapes, & moody spaces. It’s tradition, at Friendsgiving, to go around the table & reflect on the year. Each person shares what they are thankful for. I love how doing this produces purpose behind the night; creating an experience that we all remember.”
